![]() ![]() I recently discovered Spotify and though it may not have the whole catalog (so I heard) that Apple Music offers, it is certainly more friendly and I would bet that it has most of the music I listen to, so I would like to switch over there. Music I added to my account with Apple Music, which means I haven't downloaded any file to my local storage, just marked it with the "+" button in the app.Music I bought from the iTunes Store, also stored on my phone's SD. ![]() Music I ripped from my CD collection, converted into mp3 and then imported to iTunes. ![]() Repeat Step 4 until the playlist is emptied.įinally, to revoke Soundiiz's access from your account after you're done transferring, go to /account > Apps and revoke acccess.įor Apple Music, (I only know where it is on iTunes on PC, but it generally should be under 'Account Settings'), go to Account (iTunes menu bar) > View My Account > Account Access section > click Manage. So I've been using iTunes for a while now and I have many songs from different sources: Inside Apple Music/iTunes, ctrl+A the playlist > Add to Library.ĭelete the first 200 songs from the playlist inside Soundiiz (these were the ones you just transferred to Apple Music). The steps from that point should be fairly intuitive.Įach batch, a playlist of 200 songs will appear in your Apple Music library. You'll be limited to doing 200 songs at a time, unfortunately. Right-click on the playlist from inside Soundiiz and select 'transfer to Apple Music'. Make a Spotify playlist containing every song in your library. Make a Soundiiz account ( )(don't worry, everything we're about to do can be done using its Free tier.)Ĭonnect both Apple Music and Spotify from your Soundiiz account. I don't know if this will work wihout Spotify Premium, and Apple Music has no free trial. I had both Spotify Premium and the paid version of Apple Music. There are obviously other ways - feel free to post them in the comments, but I used Soundiiz, and it took me about 30 mins for a 2000 song library. Hello! Regardless of current events, I thought I'd put this guide out there for anyone who'd like to do this. ![]()
